Series “Be where your feet are.”
Be present enough to notice the moving light.
I've never taken a walk down the beach with headphones in, head down, eyes on nothing but the next few steps. We're lucky, the days offer new surroundings, a different season, a different light every time. Most people miss it completely.
That's what I love about the ocean. It doesn't let you look away for long. The water keeps moving, the light keeps shifting, and eventually it pulls your head up.
Less a postcard of a place, more a prompt: Come back to the moment you’re in. For thoes who are drawn to calm and simplicity.
One exposure. No safety net. Film rewards attention, the grain, blur, imbalance and all.
Part of the Still Archives collection - to hold on to real moments, and remind us to come back to them.
